Easter Egg Classic makes an early stop in Rock Hill
The 30th Annual Great Easter Egg Classic is just around the corner.

[/media-credit]It’s scheduled for Thursday, April 5 at Cherry Park in Rock Hill. Children ages 2-11 will take to the softball fields claiming more than 50-thousand eggs stuffed with candy and prizes.
Mark Sexton of Rock Hill’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism said Wednesday the Easter Egg Classic has taken place at Cherry Park since its second year.

[audio: 0321-Echols-A.mp3]The estimated 50-thousand eggs are stuffed by 150 senior citizens who are members of the Upper Palmetto YMCA’s Silver Fox Club.
