Winthrop Poll looks at SC resident’s attitudes

The economy, jobs and the budget were the most important problems facing the US and South Carolina.
That from the latest Winthrop University poll that questioned nearly 900 adults in the Palmetto State between January 29th and February 6th.
Poll director and Winthrop political science professor Doctor Scott Huffmon says in this poll, people were asked whether they were generally satisfied with their personal lives.

[audio: 0208-Huffmon-E.mp3]The survey also revealed that 59 percent of South Carolinians believe the nation is headed in the wrong direction, while 32 percent feel it’s headed in the right direction.
