Palmetto Mornings: 1/9/2012 Strait Herron

Strait Herron, Head Coach of the South Pointe Stallions, State 3A Football Champions, joins Palmetto Mornings to talk about their upcoming “Friday Night Stampede” Dinner and Auction to be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 6-10pm at Laurel Creek Magnolia Room.

The “Stampede” will include dinner and drinks. The event is open to all Stallion supporters over the age of 21.

The South Pointe football program averages 120 players per year. As costs continue to rise and with recent budget cuts, the football program will need outside support in order to maintain the high level of excellence it has obtained in only six short years.

All the proceeds from this auction will go directly towards helping provide the South Pointe High School football program with the tools necessary to maintain and grow into the best football program in the state as well as helping to provide State Championship rings for the team.
