Colbert-Cain Earn Fifth Place In SC Primary

Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert appears to have quite a few fans in South Carolina. 

The comedian’s satirical bid for the presidency resulted in about six-thousand people voting for former candidate Herman Cain.

Colbert had encouraged voters last week to cast their ballot for Cain if they wanted to see the comedian pursue a bid for the White House.

The “locked ballot” law also meant former candidates, including Cain, could not remove themselves from the ticket.
