Clapp resigns from Rock Hill promotions post

A longtime City of Rock Hill employee who was the driving force behind the annual ChristmasVille festival has resigned.

Old Town Special Events Manager Candy Clapp, who’s worked for the city for the past eleven years, ended her tenure with the city this week. Rock Hill Economic Development Executive Director Stephen Turner.

Turner said city leaders are now in the phase of developing a plan of action following Clapp’s departure.
