Authorities are still searching for the man who police say held up a Manchester Village gas station Christmas Eve.

Police say the man walked into the Kangaroo Express just before midnight on Saturday with a pistol and demanded money from the clerk.

The police report, which was just released today, say the clerk grabbed the pistol, but the suspect held onto it and fled the store.

Police say the man left in a maroon-colored SUV and led them down a chase on I-77 southbound, but the man jumped out of the vehicle in Fort Lawn and ran away.

Authorities in Lancaster County found a black hoodie and gloves believed to have been used by the suspect and the incident remains under investigation.
