Chamber President: Initial numbers looking good

As the tallies for area sales are still being added up for the month of December, initial figures from November show a positive trend in local sales.

York County Regional Chamber president Rob Youngblood says that’s a good sign.

Youngblood says initial figures are also showing shoppers waited to buy the big ticket items.

This chamber’s Buy Local campaign this year also included additional incentives in the form of prizes.

Youngblood said that seemed to help as well.

Youngblood says it’s the Chamber of Commerce’s goal to provide the right business climate in Rock Hill to attract business.
