Motel shooting suspect arrested
A Rock Hill woman was arrested Thursday for a shooting at a Rock Hill motel Thursday morning. Eva Sanchez has been charged in connection with the incident. Sanchez faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
A man claims he met a woman at Rock City Tavern took his gun and shot him in a hotel room at the Days Inn on Riverview road. Officers received several calls from people at the motel about a gun shot. Police found William Walker of Florida on a bed with a hole in his abdomen.
Witnesses said the woman left with someone in a silver car. Walker was taken to Carolinas Medical Center and Sanchez is being held at Moss Justice Center on 225,000 dollars bond.
