SC-DHEC announces 1,361 new cases of COVID-19; low numbers due to system error

SC-DHEC on Tuesday announced 1,361 new cases of the coronavirus. DHEC says the low case count was due to a system issue that they are working to fix. The percent positive rose to 30.3 percent.
York County had 47 cases, Lancaster County had 31 and Chester had 6. The 29 additional deaths included one York County individuals. The numbers reflect Sunday’s results as SC-DHEC reports on a 24-hour delay.
