Chester Co. boil water advisory lifted
Chester County residents finally had their boil water advisory lifted this morning. The advisory had been in effect for more than a week when the break happened to a 30-inch water pipe near Fort Lawn.
Initial repairs were made when a tapping valve broke causing additional repairs. Some Chester County residents may continue to see discolored waterm according to the Chester Metropolitan District, which provides water to the County.
Residents should flush their faucets before resuming regular water use and discard ice made before 8 a.m. on Monday.
