York County Library Board Of Trustees Fires Director Colleen Pappas
Five of the 9 members of the York County Library Board of Trustees met this morning and voted to terminate Pappas even though their investigation into accusations made against her by library staff has not been completed. Pappas has been on administrative leave since August 11th after allegations of “discrimination, illegal hiring and a hostile work environment” surfaced. The Board appointed Jason Hyatt as interim director. No decision was announced regarding any severance package but the board did say it would be moving forward on a full audit of finances.
