Lancaster Sheriff releases surveillance photos in car wash robbery

Authorities in Lancaster are asking for your help in identifying the suspect in a February 13 robbery of a car wash in the Red Rose City.

Police say just after 5 a.m. that day, a man broke into the cash box at the Laser Car Wash on Airport Road, stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.

Surveillance video from the scene shows a white male, described as tall and thin entering the area at 5 a.m. and using a pry bar to break into the machine.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information on the identity or location of those responsible for this or any crimes in the Lancaster area to call the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office at 283-4136 or contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
