York and Lancaster County Students Honored on Georgia Southern Dean’s List

On July 6, Georgia Southern announced its 2026 Dean’s List, featuring several students from York County.

To be honored, students must retain a 3.5 grade point average and a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester, according to a press release. 

Georgia Southern is classified as an R2 university in the United States (Carnegie-designated high research university) and awarded 4,020 of its roughly 29,000 students a spot on the Dean’s List, the release added.
