Winthrop Hoops Coach Speaks Out on School Shooting

Winthrop University men’s basketball coach Pat Kelsey used his post-game press conference following Tuesday night’s ten-point loss to Ohio State in Columbus to talk about the massive school shooting Friday in Connecticut.

Kelsey says he doesn’t know what needs to be done.

Kelsey says some action has to be taken.

Kelsey commented on the fact that he has placed himself in the national spotlight.

He says there are 20 families in Newtown, Connecticut that walk into bedrooms with nobody in their childrens’ beds.
