Thousands packed the streets of Downtown Rock Hill Wednesday for the 29th Annual Boo Ha Ha Halloween trick-or-treat.

With dozens of vendors, a dance party and a costume contest for the kids, Rock Hill parent Chris Curaton says his kids had a blast.

Curaton says when it comes to the costumes, his two daughters and his niece had their own picks.

Nearly 200 kids took part in the Halloween costume contest with for kids 11 and under. WRHI’s Andrew Kiel caught up with 10-year-old Tyler Hopkins describing his winning costume.

Tyler’s Dad, Jeff Hopkins, says this winning costume was completely home-made.

Dozens of local businesses passed out candy to the kids in the 29th edition of the family friendly trick-or-treat night.
