Plane crash in Lancaster overnight Thursday

A small plane crashed in Lancaster County this morning. It happened near a scrap yard at West Brooklyn Avenue and Springdale Road. The plane appeared to be damaged heavily by impact and fire when it crashed just before 1AM. Officials said there were two people on board and were hurt, but no other details have been made available on them. Flight records obtained by Channel 9 show that a Beechcraft airplane owned by Pressley Aviation was last seen flying near the crash site at 1 AM. The plane had been flying from Laredo Texas and stopped in Mississippi before going thru the Carolinas. This is a developing story
