FORT MILL, SC — Springfield Elementary School has been recognized as a 2026 National Gold Star School by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), a national honor celebrating schools that demonstrate excellence in leadership, student success, and school culture.

The National Gold Star School program recognizes schools that exemplify NAESP’s Three Pillars of the Principalship:

• Established Culture: Shared values, family engagement, and well-being.
• Empowered People: Collaborative teaching, distributed leadership, and holistic support.
• Optimal Systems: Effective use of talent and resources, district support, and strategic focus.

Schools selected for the recognition were evaluated through a competitive application process led by the NAESP National Gold Star School Advisory Committee, made up of nationally recognized school leaders from across the country.

Springfield Elementary will be recognized during the National School Leaders Conference Powered by NAESP in July 2026 in Orlando.

“This recognition reflects the strong relationships and caring culture that define Springfield Elementary School every day,” said Principal Adam Fantone. “We are proud to be a school where students feel supported and inspired to do their best each day.”
