Runners to Take On Night Trail in Kings Mountain — Mountaineer Rumble Returns
CLOVER, S.C. — Runners of all levels are invited to take part in the Mountaineer Rumble Running Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Kings Mountain State Park in Clover, South Carolina. The event offers 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon road races, all beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The festival builds on the success of previous community running events at the park, including the popular Friday Food Truck 5Ks held during the summers of 2023 and 2024.

All races start and finish inside Kings Mountain State Park, offering runners a scenic and paved course surrounded by nature.
Festival Features
- Food Trucks: Local favorites from the previous two summers will return to serve food and drinks after the races.
- Awards: Prizes will be given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in each age group category:
- Age groups: 14 & under, 15–19, then five-year increments through 80+.
- Park Access: Registration includes admission to Kings Mountain State Park.
