The Catawba Indian Nation announces new harm reduction vending machine for citizens

The Catawba Indian Nation has announced a new Harm Reduction Vending Machine. In a release, they say it promotes a healthier nation and provides citizens with important products like first aid and dental hygiene kits, gun locks, feminine products, narcan. Catawba Nation Behavioral Health Department and Catawba Nation Tribal Police Department (CNTPD) met with representatives from Carolina CARE Partnership to discuss initiatives and programs to help Catawba citizens…Carolina CARE Partnership donated the vending machine to support efforts to combat substance abuse and improve public health on the reservation.. The vending machine is located at the Reservation’s Food Distribution Center entry room, located on Avenue of Nations Road in Rock Hill
