Major step in the process happened this week to pave way for the new recreation complex coming to Rock Hill

A major step in the process to supplement the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center happened this week. The Rock Hill Planning Commission approved the site plan for the new recreation complex that will sit near downtown. It calls for $15 million public investment a 40,500 square foot facility at North Lee and West White Streets. Its all to accommodate the Sports and Events Center providing more space and events for basketball volleyball and pickle ball. The planning commissions site plan approval was needed for the project to start its construction.
