Rock Hill businessman announces he will seek Republican nomination to represent District 46

Rock Hill businessman Heath Sessions announced today he will seek the Republican nomination to represent District 46 in the S.C. House of Representatives. District 46 has been represented by Republican Gary Simrill since 1993. Simrill announced earlier this week he would not seek re-election.
In a press release Heath Sessions had this quote::
“I am a father, husband and experienced business leader, who will take a conservative mindset to Columbia. I was born and raised in our beautiful state and truly love the great people of our district. I would like to thank Representative Gary Simrill for his many years of service representing our district. He’s been a good leader and a strong advocate for us in Columbia.
Over the last few years, I’ve seen how our businesses and families have adapted to new challenges by coming together. There’s no reason to expect anything less from our government.”
I look forward to bringing a fresh perspective to the State House. We all need safe neighborhoods, great schools, and vital infrastructure to support our communities. I’ll be an advocate to bring those resources back home to Rock Hill”
