From December 1 – 7, the Child Neurology Foundation and the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance are teaming up to raise awareness about a very serious and difficult to diagnosis condition called infantile spasms (IS). This neurological condition is a series of subtle seizures occurring in children, most often under age one. While rare, they can cause long-term damage to a child’s developing brain, putting children at a great risk of developmental disability and autism.
