Texas Governor Rick Perry brought his Republican presidential campaign to Rock Hill Tuesday morning, just eleven days before South Carolina’s second-in-the-nation primary.

During a stop at Kinch’s Kitchen downtown, Perry said the Obama Administration is jeopardizing the US military.

Perry also said the nation’s energy industry is being strained by an administration that’s trying to force Americans into so-called green alternatives.

Perry says President Obama is letting leftist environmental radicals drive his agenda.

Perry says he came to the Palmetto State the day of New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary because, “South Carolina picks presidents.”  Wednesday morning, former US House Speaker Newt Gingrich will bring his GOP White House bid to Rock Hill.

Gingrich is scheduled to host a town hall forum in the Magnolia Room at Laurel Creek beginning at 9 a.m.  Former US Senator Rick Santorum will appear at the same location Friday at 10 a.m.
