Interaction With Llama Leaves Man Dialing 911
Kings Mountain, NC — A run in with a llama left a man frantically calling 911. Ronnie Griffin told police he was on Range Road in Kings Mountain when a llama named Henry began chasing him. Griffin says the animal knocked him into a wood pile and then head butted his car once he was safely inside.
A Cleveland County detective responded to Griffin’s call but only succeeded in having the llama chase his car after he used a horn and siren to scare the animal. Henry’s owner says he’s friendly and just likes to smell new people.
