Scott pleased with winning numbers

First District Congressman-elect Tim Scott says he was pleased with Tuesday’s numbers.

I think we were excited about the margin, frankly. I think with seven people in the race, ending up with around 65 percent, the last number I heard, is a good thing, so we were excited about that.

Scott became the first black Republican from the Deep South since Reconstruction to be elected into Congress.
