Rock Hill police are investigating a shooting from Monday night near a convenience store

The Rock Hill Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place at 599 South Wilson Street (Adam’s Grocery) last night just before 10pm. Officers initially responded to the store after calls of two male suspects shooting at two other male victims. While on scene, officers learned the two suspects followed one of the victims out of the store and began shooting at him. The victim entered his vehicle to flee as the gunshots continued. A 19-year-old male victim, who was seated in the passenger seat, was hit by the gunfire. Officers were notified the male was driven to Piedmont Medical Center with life threatening injuries. The Rock Hill Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the incident.
