AUDIO: Piedmont Medical Center Annual Cereal Drive

For some people a bowl of cereal can brighten up the day – that’s one reason why Piedmont Medical Center held its annual Healthy Over Hungry Cereal Drive. The effort is to make sure families have a healthy breakfast during the summer months. To encourage donations – Piedmont held a special cereal eating contest last week featuring some familiar faces throughout the community including those from the hospital, law enforcement officers and leaders from York County cities. In the end – Fort Mill School Board Chair Kristy Spears won the cereal eating contest, but the real winners will be those receiving the cereal boxes which will be given to Pilgrims’ Inn. This morning the cereal was collected and taken to Pilgrims’ Inn.
