Chris Gray elected mayor of Tega Cay; more local election results

York County voters went to the polls November 2. Here are the results:

Tega Cay

• With 56% of the vote Chris Gray was elected mayor of Tega Cay.
• Thomas Hyslip and Scott Shirley were elected to Tega Cay Town Council.

Fort Mill

• Allen Garrison won Fort Mill Town Council Ward 1 with 63%
• Ben Hudgins won Ward 3 with 67% and Chris Wolfe won the at large seat with 70%.

York

• Matthew Hickey will serve York City Council District 1 with 54%
• Charles Brewer District 5 with 56%
• Kellie Wine Harrold won District 6 with 70%.

Clover

• Bo Legg, Teresa Hurst and Amy Moses were elected to Clover Town Council.
• Brittany Farr won the unexpired term to Clover Town Council with 72% of the vote.

Mayoral elections were held in Hickory Grove, McConnells, Smyrna and Sharon.
