Ways to help the community when you go to the York County library….

Food For Fines: December 1-31.  Pay off overdue fines with Food For Fines! From Dec. 1-31, each nonperishable food or personal hygiene item you donate earns you $1 credit on outstanding overdue fines and benefits York County area food banks. No overdue fines? We’ll accept your donations anyway! And please help support our other charitable programs:

Mitten Trees: From Dec. 1-31, our libraries in Rock Hill, Clover, and York, as well as the Bookmobile, will accept new gloves, hats, scarves, and mittens to add to our Mitten Trees for donating to area shelters.

Toys for Happiness: Drop off a new, unwrapped toy in our collection box at the Main Library in Rock Hill for Toys for Happiness, which provides toys to needy children ages birth-14 years.
