Teen expelled from York Prep for sharing nude photos of classmate

A 13-year-old girl was expelled from York Preparatory Academy this week after school officials say the teenager was sharing nude photos of a fellow 12-year-old student with her classmates.

School officials contacted authorities, after launching their own investigation Tuesday morning, which resulted in the school’s director, Carlos Grant, deleting the photos from the teenager’s iPhone and iCloud account.

Rock Hill Police spokesman Executive Officer Mark Bollinger explained to WRHI while the report was made for documentation, the incident itself remains under investigation.
