Clemson’s Ellington; USC’s Lattimore up for Doak Walker Award

Clemson’s Andre Ellington and USC’s Marcus Lattimore are officially on watch for the Doak Walker award.  The trophy is awarded annually to college football’s top tailback.  There are 52 running backs on the watch list.  Ellington rushed for 1,178 yards in 2011, practically doubling his output from 2010.  He accounted for 11 Tiger scores on the ground.
