Tanner looks to extend USC’s SEC streak against Arkansas (AUDIO)

The USC baseball team has been making serious headway lately, and is starting to come into its own, just in time for postseason play.  The Gamecocks have moved up to 3rd place in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll, and 5th in Baseball America’s poll.

There are eleven games left on the schedule for the Gamecocks.  They come into this weekends series at Arkansas tied with Kentucky and LSU for the overall lead in the SEC.  Tanner looks for the Razorbacks to put up quite the fight,  noting he believes they’re good enough to be a legitimate contender to make a trip to Omaha, and they just so happen to be 26-4 at their place.
