A second man is confirmed dead in a shooting in Lancaster County Wednesday night.

Sheriff Barry Faile Thursday confirmed 25-year-old Mardrikus Belk of Lancaster died this Wednesday after he was shot outside a home on Old Blackmon Lane.

A release Friday from the Sheriff’s Office says deputies found 39-year-old Stephen Lamont Westbrook in the driveway of the  residence.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Belk was taken to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, where he later died.  The sheriff’s office says what it’s learned about the investigation is that Westbrook came to the residence to rob someone there of illegal narcotics.

That’s when deputies say Westbrook and Belk began shooting at each other, ultimately killing one another.
