Officials: Strawberry festival expecting tens of thousands this weekend

The 3rd annual South Carolina Strawberry Festival gets underway in Fort Mill tomorrow and continues through Saturday.

Festival Director Brown Simpson says that tens of thousands of people are expected at this year’s festival.

Simpson says that many people creates challenges such as traffic.

Simpson says there will be 36 food vendors, 70 business vendors and 70 arts and crafts vendors.

He says the festival will end with fireworks Saturday night.
