4 Arrested, charged in armed robbery of two teens
Four men were arrested Monday in the armed robbery of two Rock Hill teens in what appears to be a failed drug deal.
A Rock Hill police report says one of the victims called police after four men, three of which were branding weapons, approached them in Oakwood Acres Park, stealing 300-dollars in cash and a cell phone before taking off on Mt. Gallant Road.
A York County Sheriff’s Deputy located the car speeding down Mt. Gallant not far from the park with 20-year-old Charles McCoy of Charlotte, 17-year-old Aaron Homes, 18-year-old Dequentin Hardin and 19-year-old Dexter Baxter, all of Rock Hill.
All four were charged with Armed Robbery, while Baxter, Hardin, and McCoy face additional charges of possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
