School officials: $11k in laptops stolen

Authorities are investigating the theft of more than 11-thousand dollars in laptop computers from a classroom at York Preparatory Academy.
A Rock Hill police report says a school official contacted police after he noticed 22 laptops went missing sometime between Saturday morning and Monday Morning.
The administrator told officers the school loaned out its gymnasium for a basketball tournament over the weekend and numerous high-school aged children were in the building.
Forensicis investigators checked the scene for fingerprints and the incident remains under investigation.
