Report: Woman robbed at gunpoint after giving man a ride

A Rock Hill woman who gave a man a ride to a Cherry Road gas station ended up being the victim of a robbery early Tuesday morning.

[media-credit name=”GOOGLE” align=”alignright” width=”300″][/media-credit]The 22-year-old woman told police that just after midnight, she was loading items in her car on Ebenezer Avenue when an unknown black man approached her and asked for a ride to the nearby Citgo station.

On the way back from the gas station, the man told her to keep driving and told her, quote “this is a robbery,” and she would need to give him her keys.

The man showed the woman a black shotgun from his backpack and stole 75 dollars from the victim, who left on foot.
