Thursday night, the Republican candidates for York County Council’s contested races will meet — together — for the first time.

[media-credit id=18 align=”alignright” width=”300″][/media-credit]York County GOP Chair Glenn McCall says while the party will not back any particular candidate right now, tonight’s forum is designed to put all the candidates on a level playing field.

McCall says the races with Democratic contenders will likely have debates leading up to the general election.

All but two county council seats face opposition from within their incumbents party — Republican Chad Williams and Democrat Bump Roddey will not face a challenger in the June 12th primary.

Thursday’s forum gets underway at 6:30 at Thursday’s Too on Herlong Avenue.
