Andrew Kiel reports.

Whitlock left the York County Detention Center on February 27th, and it wasn’t until a day later when authorities realized they’d made a mistake.

Whitlock was found visiting his daughter in Dallas Texas. Sheriff Bryant said earlier this month that there are some changes on the way that he hopes will prevent future mistakes like this one.

Bryant said the details as to how exactly Whitlock was released were expected to be explained to the media by mid March, but the Sheriff’s Office has since said that the incident remains under investigation.)
