Students at Clover High School are trying to do their part in supporting men and women serving overseas by collecting gently used cell phones.

Clover Police Captain David Dover explains how the program works.

Dover says the program has been quite successful across the country, and how the Clover High Environmental Science Club has decided to help as well.

Clover Schools spokesman Mychal Frost says the phones will be collected between now and April 11th at the town’s police department and at Clover High School.

The calling cards will be distributed to bases across the world, care packages, at deployment ceremonies and at military  hospitals.
