City council approves $20k in funding for walking tour

After a second review Monday night before Rock Hill City Council, council members approved 20-thousand dollars in hospitality funding to market the Old Town Historic Walking Tour.

Lyle said the city will advertise the program in digital, electronic in print media both locally and on a national level.

Lyle said one of the advertisers, Going on Faith Magazine, is set to bring a convention with hundreds coming to the Baxter Hood Center this coming fall.
