Carowinds unveils WindSeeker for 2012 season

Carowinds opens for the 2012 season this weekend and Friday park officials held a preview for the media and park VIPs for the unveiling of the 301-foot tall WindSeeker.

York County Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Bennish Brown says the WindSeeker– which was built on the South Carolina side of the park — adds to the county’s bottom line.

The Dale-Earnhardt-inspired Intimidator launched in the spring of 2010, Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular opened last year and the WindSeeker officially opens to the public on Saturday.
