Parents arrested for manufacturing meth with their one-month-old child
A newborn in Kershaw County is now in protective custody after Sheriff’s Investigators say the child’s parents were manufacturing and selling methamphetamine out of their home.
Narcotics investigators say a tip led them to a motel off U.S 1 in Lugoff, and inside investigators found the room full of meth and other drugs and drug paraphernalia.
26-year-old Heather Studd of Bethpage Tennessee and 26-year-old Jonathan Pope of Camden now face multiple charges. Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews said Pope is also wanted for violation of his probation in Tennessee.
27-year-old Christopher Walker of Elgin and 24-year-old Nicole Goodwin of Camden also face charges of manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine.
