MorningStar to present PTL action plan in March

Changes could soon be on the horizon to the future PTL property in Fort Mill.

A mediation session Monday between York County and MorningStar Ministries ended in the decision to prepare a detailed presentation before the March 5 County Council meeting.

In a release late Monday from the county manager’s office, MorningStar is set detail how they’ll secure the existing side of the dilapidated Heritage Tower and the parking lot, as well as demonstrate a financial commitment to make the improvements.

Should council accept the proposal, the model would become a template for redeveloping the Heritage Tower — but if council rejects the plan, both parties would be free to pursue legal action.
