MorningStar to present a plan for PTL at March 5 council meeting
The drawn-out battle over the future of the Heritage USA tower in Fort Mill had a little spark added to the discussion Monday, after a mediation session between county leaders and MorningStar Ministries ended with MorningStar agreeing to detail its plans to restore the tower that was once the centerpiece of evangelist Jim Bakker’s Christian theme park.
York County Council Chairman Britt Blackwell said Monday night that residents who live nearby are ready for a resolution.

Blackwell said though that county council will be open to MorningStar’s proposal.
