Fire at white home causes $2,500 in damage

An early morning fire New Years’ Eve at the White Home on Elizabeth Lane caused an estimated 25-hundred dollars in damage to the historic home.

Rock Hill Fire Department Investigations Captain Rusty Myers.

There were no injuries reported in the blaze which occurred around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Myers said portions of an interior wall and an exterior wall were damaged, as well as a piece of furniture inside the building.

The incident remains under investigation.
