Charlotte man arrested in death of pregnant woman in Ballantyne
A 22-year-old Charlotte man suspected in the robbery and killing of a pregnant Charlotte woman was apprehended early Monday afternoon.

Police in Fayetteville arrested Mark Cox at a friend’s house more than two days after police say he robbed the Flying Biscuit on Rea Road just north of the state line.
The victim, 25-year-old Danielle Watson, was killed and her body dumped in a nearby dumpster.
Also Monday, the 911 dispatcher who took the call from the victim’s fiance was suspended after a mix up of the following conversation led police to the wrong place — ultimately taking them SIX HOURS to respond to the call.
