Rock Hill man charged with raping 10-year-old girl

A 32-year-old Rock Hill man is accused of sexually assaulting a young girl while she was spending the night with his daughter at his home. 

Rock Hill police documents show that John Michael Love has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

Love was arrested Wednesday and is awaiting a bond hearing.  The ten-year-old girl told police earlier this month that she was spending the night with Love’s daughter in late October when he raped her.

She told police Love appeared intoxicated when he removed her pants and sexually assaulted her.

Everyone else in the house was already asleep.
