Rock Hill police arrested a man early Wednesday morning who is now charged with his fourth DUI.

The police report says officers were at a red light on Cherry Road at Oakland Avenue when they saw a man on a scooter stop at the light well past the white line.

The man then proceeded to run the red light, while the officers were still stopped at the intersection. Police arrested 26-year-old Edward Scott Williams of Kemper Circle, who told officers he’d just left a Herlong Avenue bar.

Williams was taken to the Moss Justice Center and his blood alcohol level registered at .17, well above the legal limit of .08.
