Bikers race for a good cause

Thursday afternoon, local bikers took to the streets outside the Williams and Fudge offices on Dave Lyle Boulevard for the company’s annual bike race, raising bikes for Toys For Happiness.

Each year, hundreds of bikes are donated and distributed to children who otherwise might not have presents under the tree Christmas morning.  This year, 195 bikes and tricycles were donated!

WRHI’s Manning Kimmel, who himself was one of the two non-winners in Thursday’s contest, caught up with the winner… Rock Hill Schools superintendent Lynn Moody.

Williams and Fudge Vice President David Williams said he was proud of the support from his staff.

And while the donations were all for a good cause, there was a bit of smack talk between the celebrity races. WRHI’s Manning Kimmel…
